Laser Surgery
At Animal Hospital of Pensacola we use a surgical laser that is so accurate that an area less than one tenth of a millimeter can be treated without thermal damage to surrounding tissue. Laser surgery can cut, cauterize, vaporize, and sterilize tissue with little or no bleeding, almost no swelling, and minimal pain.
We can now wisp away those aggravating, disfiguring growths and tumors around the face, eyes, and feet with limited post-surgical pain. These sophisticated Laser options can be used in most surgical procedures including spays and neuters and Laser surgery has revolutionized feline declaw procedures. In addition, removal of tumors involving the lips, cheeks, nose, mouth, and eyes is greatly facilitated.
X-Rays and Ultrasound
We are proud to offer digital radiography for your pet so the doctor can get a clear, specific picture of what is going on inside your pet.
Specialized diagnostic capabilities include ultrasound evaluation, endoscopy, digital eye pressure testing, etc. for cases difficult to diagnose. X-Rays and ultrasound offer a window into your pet’s body and show the veterinarian things that your pet is not able to tell us.
Boarding
We are committed to providing a healthy boarding as a natural complement to our dedication to quality veterinary medicine and patient care. Therapeutic Laser
Animal Hospital of Pensacola is excited to offer a truly remarkable multiple use therapy laser that provides a non-invasive, non-drug or chemical method to treat and relieve pain, inflammation and accelerate healing and muscle regrowth! Some of the many applications include: severe arthritis, ear infections, post-surgical recover, wound healing and abscess resolution as well as, lick granuloma and generalized weakness.

Surgery
Our veterinarians are experienced with a broad range of surgical procedures. We do surgeries daily including spaying and neutering which address reproductive disorders in both male and female pets. We offer soft tissue surgical procedures that improve your pet's health and comfort. Most of our surgery patients are released the same day so that your pet may recuperate in the comfort of their own home.
Orthopedic repairs are an advanced surgical procedure to repair bone and ligament damage. Most of these surgeries can be performed by our veterinarians, including patella luxation, fracture repairs and cruciate injuries.
If these injuries are extreme, your pet may be referred to board certified orthopedic surgeon or veterinary university.
Veterinary dental procedures offer pet’s improved oral health, fresh breath, and a whiter smile. In addition, regular dental care offers protection against infection and dental disease caused by the bacteria that grow in an unhealthy mouth. These bacteria can spread throughout the pet’s system and impact the length and quality of your pet’s life. Our veterinary team performs professional dental procedures daily. Micro Chipping

Grooming
In addition to a new “do”, our experienced pet grooming professionals offer your pet comfort and good health. Our Grooming and Bathing also include a brief physicals examination, bath with veterinary shampoo, dipping, nails trimmed, ears cleaned, anal glands expressed, and an oral past applied to the teeth.
